A Perfect Day In...

Wednesday, January 4, 2012

I hope you've been enjoying all the "A Perfect Day In..." guest posts from my lovely blogger friends from around the world. Today Connie from All About Connie is sharing her perfect day in...Esbjerg, Denmark!

Hi, I'm Connie. A while ago the sweet Vanisha asked me if I wanted to do a guest post on her blog, and of course I would love to do that... I just had to get my act together and find pictures and write a bit, now I have, and here is how I would spent a perfect day in Esbjerg.

I love my food, so a perfect day would start out with brunch at G's café down on the habour.

Well on a perfect day, there wouldn't be snow, but it was the only picture I could find online, and the snow looks quite nice:)

I'm a mum to a wonderful little boy of 9 months, so on my perfect day we would spent time together, and for the fun of it I guess we would bring daddy along as well:) A perfect day would be sunny, because even if it's sunny here in Denmark, we hardly ever get more than 20-25 degrees celcius, so it won't be too hot. We could go for a walk, and when Jonas gets older maybe have a picnic by the little lake near by, and him and my husband could do a little fishing.

This pictures is from this summer, where we took a walk down to the lake, and Jonas got the see the swans and there were ducks as well.

When he gets older a lot of things will be more fun to do with him, another thing I will be looking forward to showing him is the Fishing and Shipping museum here in Esbjerg, they have an aqurium and a sealarium etc.

At the museum you can see a lot of different fish, and you can see them feed the seals, which I think Jonas will really enjoy once he is a little older.

Another thing that would be fun to do, though that is not in Esbjerg, but a short hour drive from here, and we could go to Legoland. I actually went with our neighbours in October, because they had a free ticket, and I was surprised that they actually had things Jonas could try all ready.

Here we are on the small safari cars. Though I think Jonas enjoyed the small boats the most, maybe because he was about to get tired when we got to the safari cars.

In the evening on a perfect day, my husband and I would probably get a babysitter for Jonas, and then go out for dinner and maybe for a concert at a place called Tobakken.

It's an old factory they have turned into a music place, and a place for a lot of other activities. They have quite a lot of concerts there, and I'm sure we could find one that we would like to go to.

Hope you enjoyed my perfect day in and around Esbjerg. If you ever are in the neighbourhood or in Denmark, you are welcome to contact me, and I would love to help out with whatever I can... hope you all will have a perfect day, whereever you are:)
